Rainbow Movers is a full service moving and storage company which was founded in 1918. Our company has been able to go from one man and a wagon to the quality service it is today because of our incredible team of Rainbow “movers”.  Our team of professional movers are  dedicated to providing our customers with quality service.

I am one of the fourth generation owners of the business started by my great grandfather in 1918 after returning from Foreign Service in the Rainbow Battalion during WWI. As a teenager I traveled the road with my father as his packer and loading helper. Although I tried to escape from the irresistible lure of the moving & storage business by getting a college degree in geriatrics… by destiny or legacy, I was somehow drawn back in, and over the past 28 years have performed and accepted the responsibility for nearly every sales, customer service and general management function within the organization.

My career path at Rainbow Movers started in customer service but inevitably led into sales where I was successful in the areas of Exhibits & Tradeshows, Logistics, International, Office and COD transportation.

I transitioned into operations for a period running my own branch for our agency and stewarding many of our diversification and expansion initiatives. More recently, I found corporate and international relocations a challenging new specialty which was followed by assignments as general manager of our sales, marketing and customer service departments.

My latest endeavor has been building and pioneering a new division of our company, Rainbow Senior Moves which is a niche specialty that addresses the specific needs of the elderly and their families during times of lifestyle change or downsizing.

I currently live in a wonderfully restored antique home in the lovely hills of western MA.
